  • 220 kV closed distribution unit (220 kV CDU) to power the rectifier‑transformer substations and 220/10 kV MSS.
    Equipment of the 220 kV closed distribution unit is an integrated gas‑insulated switchgear (IGIS).
  • 2 rectifier‑transformer substations (RTS‑1 and RTS‑2) for (DC) supply of pot line units. RTS are equipped with converting units (5 load‑center units for each RTS supplied by ALSTOM Company).
  • Rectifier‑transformer substation (RTS‑1 and RTS‑2) are powered from 220 kV CDU via five cable lines (for each RTS) received from three singe‑core cables with XLPE insulation laid along the cable structures on the rack.
  • Main step‑down substation 220/10.5 kV MSS to power smelter power consumers connected to bus lines 10 kV as part of four transformers with a capacity of 100 MW each.
    220/10.5 kV MSS is connected to the 220 kV closed distribution unit via cable lines.
  • Main distribution point DP‑1, powered from 220/10.5 kV MSS to ensure uninterruptible power supply of the smelter consumers, represents an 8‑sectional 10 kV distribution device (DD‑10 kV) consisting of 60 smelter‑produced packaged chambers.
