Summary
The project was implemented with the participation of Maire Tecnimont Company (Italy) and Russian Velesstroy Company supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Administration of Leningrad region, as well as with the participation of the Italian export credit agency SACE.
The new ammonia production plant is the largest in Europe and Russia with regard to the capacity of the production unit. The main consumers of the new plant products are EuroChem Company enterprises in Belgium and Lithuania as well as Phosphorit plant in Kingisepp.
Completed works
Construction of a new EuroChem plant using the best available technologies in ammonia production – large investment project implemented within the period from 2016 to 2019.
The total amount of investments into the project is 1 bln US Dollars, capacity - 1 mln tons of product per year.
